Jett Industries, Inc. (Jett) is preparing to respond to the Invitation to Bid issued by New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) to deliver the installation of waste activated sludge pumps in a Queens, NY facility. Jett is seeking entities to provide personnel, equipment, and material to assist in the project. The work consists of the following:

1. Installation of three (3) WAS pumps with associated valves, appurtenances, local control stations, suction and discharge piping, supports, and power and control wiring in the South FST Gallery.
2. Installation of two (2) WAS pumps with associated valves, appurtenances, local control stations, suction and discharge piping, supports, and power and control wiring in the North FST Gallery.
3. Construction of reinforced concrete equipment pads for the five (5) WAS pumps.
4. Demolition, removal, and disposal of existing process piping in the South and North FST Galleries.
5. Installation of seal water piping, valves and appurtenances and connection to the existing seal water header.
6. Installation of wiring, conduits, switches, supports and other power distribution related equipment, including two (2) ductbanks between Tunnel A and Substation A.
7. Installation of new breakers in the existing Motor Control Center 1543 power circuit breaker cubicles, located in Substation A, and the removal and refurbishment of the existing spare breakers in the cubicles.
8. Installation of five (5) WAS pump variable frequency drive enclosures in Substation A, including all wiring, conduits, supports, appurtenances and related equipment.
9. Installation and connection of all instrumentation associated with the WAS pumps to the existing plant SCADA network, including flow meters, local control stations, supports, and all other instrumentation.
10. Removal of the existing and installation of new pavement, curbs, and sidewalks for the installation of two (2) concrete encased electrical ductbank systems south of Substation A.
11. Excavation and backfill of a new trench for the installation of two (2) concrete encased electrical ductbank systems south of Substation A.

The Bidder will be required to quote in compliance with all project plans and specifications. Non-Disclosure Agreements are provided when applicable. Addenda is posted and notification is sent to all invited bidders.

Insurance Requirements
Upon award, Subcontractors must provide insurance in accordance with our subcontract agreement. A copy of the subcontractor agreement can be found in Building Connected Project Plan Room.

Bonding Requirements
For subcontracts the Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds equal to the full subcontract price. For Material Contracts, the bidder shall furnish Supply Bonds in amount equal to full Material Contract price. Bond premiums are reimbursable by Kiewit/Mass. Electric Construction Co/ Jett Industries LLC
