Golden Bay Construction will be accepting quotes from DBE subcontractors & suppliers. The engineer’s estimate for the project is $485,040 and has a 9% DBE participation goal. If your firm is interested in submitting a quote, please feel free to bid on any item within your scope of work. We are seeking quotes for (but not limited to) the following items: asphalt paving, striping, signage, installation of bus stop shelters and flag pole as well as supply of materials including but not limited to asphalt concrete, aggregate base, and concrete. When economically feasible, all items of work can and will be divided into small tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation of DBE businesses. We encourage subcontractors and suppliers submitting prices to utilize DBE businesses. This may be accomplished through second tier subcontracting, owner-operator equipment, or the purchase of supplies. All plans and specifications may be reviewed in our office, and we will be happy to email you any information you require to formulate a bid.
