RTA Construction, Inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) for the Lewiston Community Services District Water Distribution System Replacement Project in Lewiston, CA. Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Water Distribution System Replacement Project will be received by Lewiston Community Services District at the office of PACE Engineering, 5155 Venture Parkway, Redding, CA 96002, until 3:00 p.m. local time on December 15, 2022, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of installing approximately 14,155 feet of water main and appurtenances, reconnecting water services and fire hydrants, relocating water services, directional drilling, retrofitting existing meter registers to cellular AMI technology, and installing new fire hydrants. Engineer’s Construction Cost Estimate is $6,000,000 to $6,600,000.

RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from DBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this project including, but not limited to, the following items: Trenching, Pipe Installation, Hydrant Installation, Retrofit Meters, Backfill, Pipe Boring, Surface Restoration, Paving, Micro-Surfacing, SWPPP, Traffic Control and Hauling. We will work with interested DBEs to create custom scopes of work/supply to meet their particular needs. We will encourage a consortium of DBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one DBE firm to handle individually. We will work with interested DBEs to divide total requirements into economically feasible, smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum DBE participation.
