Allen Gill Construction inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes quotes from all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) for the Lewiston Community Services District Well 8 Project in Lewiston, CA. Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Water Distribution System Replacement Project will be received by Lewiston Cornrnunity Services District at the office or PACE Engineering, 5155 Venture Parkway, Redding, CA 96002, until 3:00 p.m. local time on December 22, 2022, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of installing well pump, miscellaneous process piping and appurtenances, and approximately 300 feet of water main; reconnecting services; and constructing a new well building, complete. Allen Gill Construction Inc.. is requesting quotes from DBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this s project including, but not limited to, the following items: Permits, Grading, Excavation, Compacted Fill, Reinforced Concrete Foundation/Footing/Slab, Building Masonry, Building Roof, Building Pain ting, HVAC, Well 8 Pump, Furnish and Install Process Piping, Disinfection System, Electrical Work Complete, TPUO Coordination, Startup and Testing, Connection to Distribution System, Park Bathroom Connection, Irrigation Connection, Irrigation Controller Relocate, Trenching/Sheeting/Shoring. We will work with interested DBEs to create custom scopes of work/supply to meet their particular needs. We will encourage a consortium of DBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one D BE firm to handle individually. We will work with interested DBEs to divide total requirements into economically feasible, smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum DBE participation.
