Project Details

Kerex Engineering, Inc. is requesting quotes from all qualified DBE & Non-DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the following items of work including but not limited to; Asphalt, Trucking, Concrete, SWPPP, Electrical, Landscape & Irrigation, Striping & Signage. Furnish and maintain traffic control throughout the period of construction; maintain pedestrian barricades and detour pedestrian traffic around the work area; demolish and dispose of existing improvements including asphalt pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb access ramp, medians and traffic islands; construct protected intersection improvements, modify existing traffic signals, remove right turn slip lanes, upgrade existing curb access ramp, place hot mix asphalt concrete pavement, slurry seal, install
striping and pavement markings. Such miscellaneous work, including removal of concrete forms, disposal off-site of all unsuitable materials, and cleanup of the site.

Kerex Engineering, Inc. can assist in payment of a reasonable bond premium. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. If you have any questions, need assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance in services, please contact Patrick Madden at our office. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owner’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Kerex Engineering, Inc. subcontract agreement. Plans and Specifications are available to be viewed in our office located at 4941 Pacheco Blvd. Martinez, CA. 94553 between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment or you can send a request for this project and we will send you the specs/plans.
