Allen Gill Construction Inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) for the Wastewater Collection System Improvements Project, in Yreka California. Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Wastewater Distribution System Replacement Project will be received by the City of Yreka City Hall, 701 4th Street, Yreka, CA, 96097 or at the office of PACE Engineering, 5155 Venture Parkway, Redding, CA 96002, until 2:00 p.m. local time on February 14, 2023, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read from both locations via Zoom. The Project consists of installing approximately 1,710 LF of 18-inch, 380 LF of 12-inch, 6,000 LF of 8-inch, 4,000 LF of 6-inch, and 5,100 LF of 4-inch sewer piping; 34 new manholes; 17 new rod holes; 215 two-way cleanouts; 22 backcheck valves; 25 rerouted laterals, 10 replumb laterals; 190 LF of 8-inch, 760 LF of 6-inch, and 125 LF of 1-inch water piping; 2 fire hydrant; 1 CAV; ±105,000 sq. ft. of chip seal restoration; appurtenances; and abandonments per the Drawings. Allen Gill Construction Inc. is requesting quotes from DBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this project including, but not limited to, the following items: Permits, Trucking, Traffic Control, Material Suppliers, Pavement Grinding, Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Chip Seal, Striping, Bypass pumping, and sheeting, shoring and bracing.

Insurance, including workers compensation will be required with $1,000,000 in coverage limits. All subcontractors must be registered with the DIR ( Department of industrial Relations ) in order to perform work on this project. Call for more information. We will encourage a consortium of DBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one D BE firm to handle individually.
