FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all certified DBE firms for the following items of work including but not limited to: Construction Staking, SWPPP, Street Sweeping, Construction Area Signs/Traffic Control System, Potholing, Clearing & Grubbing, Remove Fence, Remove Roll Gate, Remove Metal Post (Bollard), Remove Tree, Relocate Roadside Signs, Remove Roadside Sign, Relocate Mailbox, Remove Concrete , Remove AC Pavement, Fencing, Roadway Excavation, Ready Mix Concrete, Class 2 AB, Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A), AC Dike (Type A), Driveway Conform (Gravel), Driveway Conform (Concrete), Driveway Conform (HMA), Parking Bumpers (Precast Concrete), Remove Pavement Markings, Pavement Markings (Thermoplastic), Roadside Sign, Painted Traffic/Stall Lines And Pavement Markings, Transition Grading & Restoration and all Material Suppliers.

A 100% payment bond and performance bond will be required. Vanguard will pay bond premium up to 2%. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractors license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owners requirements and will be required to sign the standard FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. subcontract agreement.
