THE FOLLOWING SCOPES OF WORK ARE REQUESTED:

Bid Package 1: Roofing, Miscellaneous Metals, Sheet Metal and Flashing, Casework/Millwork, Glazing, Doors/Frames and Hardware (Material Only), Building Specialties (Material Only), Flooring, Tile, Acoustical Ceilings & Wall Panels, Painting, Signage (Material Only), Window Treatments, and Fence and Gates

The USGS B-19 Project consists of renovating the 1st floor of Building 19 at the NASA Ames Research Center, on Moffett Field. The building renovation will be approximately 54,000 GSF which consists of basement, 1st floor, and a small portion of the second floor. It is almost entirely office and support spaces. The project site is currently an existing building with the second floor in active use throughout renovation. The project will target LEED V4 Interior Design and Construction (LEED v4 ID+C) Silver Certification.

Plans, specifications, and all other pertinent bidding documents will be made available electronically on the Building Connected Website. Please contact Susan Samimi at our office number above or ssamimi@henselphelps.com to be added to Building Connected for the project. Bid Documents will be available the week of March 06, 2023. Construction is scheduled to start Q2 2023.

An Outreach meeting to discuss the project scope will be held (via Microsoft Teams) on March 02, 2023 at 11:00AM PST.

Successful Bidder will be required to furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds for all subcontracts exceeding $50,000. Bonds to be issued by a surety that is U.S. Treasury listed and carries an AM Best Rating of A- VII or above.

Subcontracts shall be executed on Hensel Phelps Construction Co.’s standard subcontract forms, copies of which may be found with the bid documents. Workers’ Compensation and Waiver of Subrogation will be required from all Subcontractors.
