Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Timber Lagging; Lumber Supply; Construction Staking; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Clearing & Grubbing; Structure Backfill; Highway Planting; Soil Amendments; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Temporary Erosion Control; Landscape Care And Maintenance Services; Concrete Pumping; Pavement Reinforcing Fabric; Drilled Hole; Reinforcing Steel; Roadside Sign; Clean & Paint Steel; Paint And Stain Concrete; Fencing; Metal Beam Guard Railing; Metal Railing (Include Handrailing, Cable Railing, Bicycle Railing); "Concrete Barrier (Permanent) (All Concrete Barrier Types)"; Metal Beam Barrier; Crash Cushion; Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking; Painted Traffic Striping & Marking; Remove Pavement Marking & Traffic Stripes; Rumble Strip; Maintaining Existing Traffic Mgmt System Elements During Construction; Signal & Lighting (Furnishing, Installing, Modifying Or Removing ); Lighting (Installation Of Street Lights); Pavement Profiling; Environmental - Water Quality; Lead Compliance; SWPPP Planning; Biological Resources Studies; Transfer Dump Truck; Super 10 Dump Truck; Water Truck; End Dump Truck; Trucker Broker; Trucker; Construction Staking (Surveying).

The DBE Contract goal is 20% percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACNH-Q101(417)E. Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can help us meet the DBE Goal 20%. The estimated cost of the project is $5,200,000.00

No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
