Golden Bay Construction will be accepting quotes from DBE subcontractors & suppliers. The project has an 8% DBE participation goal. If your firm is interested in submitting a quote, please feel free to bid on any item within your scope of work. We are seeking quotes for (but not limited to) the following items: survey, asphalt grinding, asphalt paving, utility adjustments, trucking, electrical, crack fill, slurry seal, striping & signage as well as supply of materials including but not limited to HDPE storm drain pipe, inlets, asphalt, concrete, sand and gravel. When economically feasible, all items of work can and will be divided into small tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation of DBE businesses. We encourage subcontractors and suppliers submitting prices to utilize DBE businesses. This may be accomplished through second tier subcontracting, owner-operator equipment, or the purchase of supplies. All plans and specifications may be reviewed in our office, and we will be happy to email you any information you require to formulate a bid.
