Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Drainage Systems Supplier, Traffic Control Supplier, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Traffic Flagger, Reset, Relocate, Adjust, Modify Roadway Items, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Clearing & Grubbing, Hydroseeding, Erosion Control, Temporary Erosion Control, Aggregate Base (AB), Pavement Reinforcing Fabric, Minor Concrete Structure, Roadside Sign, Reinforced Concrete Pipe "Misc Iron & Steel Frame, Cover & Grate", Saw Cutting, Temporary Fencing, Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking, Pavement Marker, Lead Compliance, SWPPP Planning, Street Sweeping Truck, Trucker Broker, Trucker, Construction Equipment Rental.

The DBE Contract goal is 20% percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACHSST-S001(659). Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can help us meet the DBE Goal 20%. Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
