Alstom Transport is a passenger rail vehicle and component manufacturer seeking firms currently certified as Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
(DBE) in USA to provide services for railcar HVAC Overhaul project as a 1st tier subcontractor on a project. It must be a small business firm defined pursuant to 13 CFR Part 121 and be certified through the California Unified Certification Program (“CUCP”) at the time of Bid submission (September 5th, 2023). The project is currently in the bidding phase. Certified firms should be capable and have proven track record to perform the following scope:
--In country freight transportation of multiple railcar HVAC units
--and/or Overhaul preparation including clean dirt, rust, and oil from all HVAC components; remove components that will be replaced.
Detailed specifications for the required components will be provided to interested and qualified firms for further evaluation after project award.
Qualified firms must be ISO certified and have the following or equivalent:
--Documented Quality Management System,
--Environmental, Health, and Safety Policy (in good standing with OSHA guidelines preferred),
--Business Insurance,
--Experience in Passenger or Freight rail industry (Preferred).
