Kerex Engineering, Inc. is requesting quotes from all qualified DBE & Non-DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the following items of work including but not limited to; Asphalt, Trucking, Concrete, SWPPP, Electrical, Landscape & Irrigation, Striping & Signage. The work to be performed safety improvements on Diablo Avenue/DeLong Avenue corridor between Novato Boulevard and Reichert Avenue in the City of Novato, Marin County. The proposed work entails new roadway signage, striping, and minor concrete-curb work to calm arterial traffic, improve pedestrian access by shortening pedestrian crossing distances, and increase the visibility of traffic signals. Curb ramps will be upgraded to current ADA standards. All work will be within the existing City right of way. Site cleaning, restoration, and removal of debris, equipment, and excess material from the sites upon completion of work miscellaneous work, including removal of concrete forms, disposal off-site of all unsuitable materials, and cleanup of the site.
Kerex Engineering, Inc. can assist in payment of a reasonable bond premium. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owner’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Kerex Engineering, Inc. subcontract agreement.
