The Scope of Work for this bid package includes the following improvements at the City of Parlier’s WWTP:
1. Demolition of (E) infrastructure including the removal and disposal of (E) sludge within each of the (E).
2. (E) headworks additional mechanical chain and rack bar screen and protective coating to concrete surfaces.
3. Construction of a concrete influent diversion structure.
4. Construction of an extended aeration basin by retrofitting an (E) lagoon with floating aerator system and soil cement.
5. Construct of a CMU building to house three 4,100 SCFM turbo blowers and the new electrical infrastructure.
6. Construction of a concrete diversion structure to divert the mixed liquor into each of the secondary clarifiers.
7. Construction of a two (2) 75’ circular secondary clarifiers with a of 13’.
8. Construction of CMU building with three (3) 1,390-2,085 gpm RAS/WAS chopper pumps.
9. Construction of CMU building with one (1) 4.5 gph neat polymer/1,000 gph dilution polymer activation unit, two (2) 250 gpm progressive cavity pumps and a 50 gallon polymer storage drum.
10. Construction of four (4) concrete sludge drying beds with Merit Filter Media floors (55’-3” x 112’-4” per bed).
11. Construction of a soil cement sludge storage pad (0.3 ac).
12. Construction of a drain pump station equipped with two (2) 200 gpm submersible pumps.
13. Construction of an irrigation pump station with two (2) 4,000 gpm mixed flow impeller vertical turbine pumps.
14. Renovations to four (E) reclamation fields and the construction of a new irrigation effluent distribution system.
15. Rehabilitation of the (E) operations building including HVAC, shower and installation of new epoxy flooring.

GSE will reimburse Subcontractors for the required bond premium, so please provide your bond rate at time of bid. The decision to bond any or all subcontractors shall be at the sole discretion of GSE Construction, unless the specific project contract documents have other requirements. Please contact us for any insurance, bonding or other project related questions.
For subcontracts greater than $100,000 in amount, performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to 100% of the subcontract price may be required, issued by sureties satisfactory to Contractor, with the reasonable premium charge for the bonds (which shall not exceed 1.75% of the amount of the subcontract) to be reimbursed by Contractor. In Contractor’s sole subjective discretion, Contractor may determine to waive or reduce this requirement. Please list any bond premiums as a separate line item. Subcontractor also shall be required to execute a subcontract that is in substantially the form of Contractor’s standard subcontract document, which is available for review at Contractor’s offices.
