Stalco is submitting a bid to the Suffolk County Department of Public Works for the Construction of Maintenance Facility at West Sayville Golf Course project and are seeking qualified NYS Certified MBE & WBE subcontractors to provide quotes

This project has a minority requirement of 7% MBE & 5% WBE

The work consists of the following:
New Building addition consisting of site demolition, site reconstruction and existing building alteration - new construction for a single-story masonry and wood frame parks facility.
Contract No. 1 - General Construction,
Add Alternate G-1: Construction of cold storage portion of building (south area) including walls, roof, foundations, structured members, openings, and other related components and assemblies as indicated.
Add Alternate G-2: To provide hydraulic lift (electrical work part of Base Bid). Site Construction: Site preparation, excavation, and grading; earthwork; tree protection removal thinning; building removals; lawns and grasses. Special Specifications: Haybales; saw cutting asphalt; sub-base course; hot mix asphalt (HMA) pavements for Municipalities; fences; gravel. Concrete: Concrete formwork; concrete reinforcement; cast-in-place concrete. Masonry: Unit masonry. Metals: Cold formed metal framing; miscellaneous metals. Wood, Plastics, and Composites: Rough carpentry; shop fabricated wood trusses; carpentry; plastic paneling. Thermal and Moisture Protection: Below grade damp-proofing; building insulation; roofing shingles; siding; sheet metal flashing; manufactured gutters and downspouts; joint sealers. Openings: Hollow metal steel doors and frames; sectional overhead garage doors; aluminum windows; finish hardware. Finishes: Gypsum drywall; tile; resilient tile flooring; painting and finishing; concrete sealers. Specialties: Aluminum louvers; fire extinguishers and cabinets; toilet accessories. Equipment: Vehicle service lift. Plumbing: Excavation, backfilling, and restoration; pipe, fittings, valves, and specialties; foundations, supports, and hangers; plumbing fixtures; fire stopping; insulation; electric water heater; identification of systems; testing, adjusting, and balancing. Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC): Pipe, fittings, valves, and specialties; foundations, supports, and hangers; ductwork, air devices, and accessories; fans; fire stopping; insulation; automatic controls; identification of systems; testing, adjusting, and balancing; packaged, outdoor, fixed plate energy recovery units. Electrical: Raceways and boxes; wire and cable; wiring devices; foundations, supports, and hangers; fire stopping; safety switches; panel boards; lighting; fire alarm; telephone wiring system. Substantial Completion: Within 130 calendar days after issuance of the formal Notice to Proceed.
