E.E. Gilbert Construction is requesting bids from certified DBE, SBE, MBE, and LSAF Subcontractors and suppliers for traffic control, trucking, drilling, midwest guardrail system, cable railing, reinforcing steel, pavement grinding, pavement markings, and jute mesh with hydroseeding.

The project consists of replacing the damaged road with a 142-foot-long cast-in-place drilled hole pile supporting retaining wall where significant settlement occurred. Relatively closely spaced piles with reinforce concrete grade beam will transfer lateral soils loads to deeper and stronger materials. Filling and repaving the roadway will be required to restore the asphalt surface and pre-slide drainage patterns.

Any subcontractor performing work on the job is required to be registered with the Dept. of Industrial Relations. Please take into account when quoting the project: Prevailing Wage Rates, Certified Payroll, and Insurance Requirements.
