RTA Construction is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Minority Business Enterprises and Women’s Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) for the Sacramento River Trail Repairs project in Redding, CA. Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Sacramento River Trail Repairs project will be received by the City of Redding at the office of the City Clerk, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, CA 96001 until 3 p.m. local time on May 23, 2024, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project will repair damage from storms and the Carr fire along the City's Sacramento River Trail. In general, the repairs will include replacement of damaged asphalt concrete pavement, concrete, trail shoulder backing, aggregate base, benches, and fencing. It will also include backfilling eroded areas with riprap, and an asphalt concrete overlay for a portion of the River Trail. The Engineer’s Estimate is $865,000. There are 65 working days.

RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from DBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this project. RTA Construction, Inc. is offering the following items of work to MBE/WEBs including but not limited to: Water Pollution Control, Biologists, Temporary Fence, Traffic Control/Public Safety, Clearing and Grubbing, Excavation, Aggregate Base, Shoulder Backing, Concrete, Concrete Curb, Riprap, Remove & Reinstall Bench, Remove & Replace Bench, Clean Existing Culvert, Replace Asphalt Concrete, Articulated Block, Construction Funding Sign, Remove & Reinstall Trellises, Replace Stamped Concrete, Concrete Key Curb, Relocate Rock Mounted Plaque, Crack Sealing, Pavement Fabric, Wood Fence, Replace Fence Fabric, Cold Mill Asphalt Concrete, Asphalt Concrete Overlay, Traffic Stripe. We will encourage a consortium of MBE/WBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one MBE/WBE firm to handle individually. We will work with interested MBE/WBEs to divide total requirements into economically feasible, smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum MBE/WBEs participation.
