Ray’s Electric is requesting written quotations from qualified DBE and Non-DBE sub-contractors and vendors for the above-named project. The City of Oakland proposes to improve the existing bike and pedestrian facilities on Harrison Street between Lakeside Drive and 27th Street and on W Grand Avenue between Harrison Street and Bay Place. The proposed improvements include Class IV protected bicycle lanes separated by parked cars and raised buffers; and improved pedestrian facilities including refuges, high visibility crosswalks, transit boarding islands, and reconstructed curb ramps to meet ADA compliance. All work will occur within the existing City right of way. The Engineer’s Estimate is $4,373,374.50 with 23% DBE.
The Construction shall conform to Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction 2015 Edition” (GREENBOOK), the "Standard Details for Public Works Construction 2002 Edition", and the State of California, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications and Standard Plans, dated 2023, including latest Addendums and Revisions-Applies to Special Provisions.
This Project is subject to the “Buy America” Provisions of the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1982 as amended by the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991.
