Requesting Sub-bids, Sub-proposals from firms with California DBE Certification Subcontractors / Subconsultants / Vendors wanted for the following: Aggregate Supply, Asphalt Dike, Asphalt Paving, Biologist, Bridge Demo, CIDH Pile, Clear and Grub, Concrete Barrier, Concrete Supply, Construction Area Signs, Driven Pile, Electrical, Erosion Control, Fencing, Formliner Supply, Furnish and Drive Steel Pile, Furnish and Erect Precast Girders, Ground Anchor, Guardrail, Hydroseeding, Joint Seal, Joint Seal Assembly Supply, Landscape and Irrigation, Masonry (Sound Wall), Minor Concrete, Misc. Iron and Steel Supply, Misc. Metals Supply, Overhead Signs, Pipe Supply, Polyester Concrete Overlay, QC Testing, Railing, Ready Mix Concrete Supply, Reinforcing Steel, Roadside Signs, Rock Slope Protection, Saw and Seal PCC, Settlement Monitoring, Slope Paving, Soldier Pile, Street Sweeping, Striping, Survey, Traffic Control Materials, Vibration Monitoring, Water Truck.


Flatiron intends to conduct itself in good faith with DBE firms for participation on this project.

Plans and specifications are available, at no cost, from the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) https://vendors.planetbids.com/portal/20136/bo/bo-detail/116081 (Registration Required). In order to obtain the BID Final Plans - SBCTA requires your firm to sign the SSI Document Release Form Attachment D. Please send us an email request at socalbids@flatironcorp.com to obtain the SSI Document Release Form Attachment D. Additionally, plans and specifications are available to view at Flatiron’s San Diego, CA and Chino, CA offices. Please call to make an appointment to view the documents.

This project has a 24% DBE Goal. In addition to request for participation from DBE subcontractors and suppliers, Flatiron requests non-DBE subcontractors to provide lower-tier DBE participation. Bidders are required to indicate lower-tier DBE participation information to be evaluated as part of their quote.

Quotes must be valid for same duration as specified by Owner for contract award (120 days). Quotes will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary to facilitate participation. Flatiron intends to work cooperatively with all firms for scopes of work you are licensed and qualified to perform. Assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies, and materials is available upon request. Additionally, please contact us if you require technical assistance.

Subcontractors are required to possess and maintain a current contractor’s license and must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) as required by Public Contract Code Section 1725.5. Subcontractors will be required to execute Flatiron’s Standard Subcontract Terms and Conditions and insurance requirements. A copy of the document in electronic format is available upon request.
