This project is OCIP. Please review all insurance documents and ensure proper costs are included in your proposal.

This Project will bring the roofs and enclosures at three traction power substations, listed below, to a state of good repair. The roofing systems of the three existing traction power substations listed below are beyond their useful life. Many roof areas are leaking and are past their warranty periods. The purpose of this Project is to remove and replace the three existing roofing systems in their entirety with complete ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM) roofing systems, which shall include at a minimum roofing materials, a roof, drainage system, skylights, and clerestory windows. The Project also includes the repair of existing roof slabs and parapets; the removal, replacement, and rebuilding of deteriorated areas of brick walls; the installation of expansion joints; and the replacement of roof access ladders, access doors, roof curbs, exhaust fans, ducts, and vent pipes. The Substations are:
1. Astoria / 24th Avenue Power Substation
2. 58th Street Power Substation
3. Jamaica Ave / 120th Street Power Substation

Project solicitation needs include, but are not limited to the following scope: CPM scheduling, survey, progress photo & video, concrete supply, rebar supply and installation, Furnish & Install Roofing, furnish and install misc. metals, painting, plumbing, and electrical.
