Cratus, Inc. is requesting quotes from both DBE (% Participation TBD) and San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro LBE certified firms (10% Participation) for the construction of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s WW-757 Laguna, Howard, and Mission Creek Combined Sewer Discharge Improvements project.
The objective of the project is to rehabilitate Laguna Street, Howard Street, 3rd Street, 4th Street North, 4th Street South, and 6th Street South Combined Sewer Discharges (CSDs). Engineer's Estimate is $7,500,000.00.
Quotes are sought from qualified Subcontractors, Suppliers & Haulers for scopes of work, including but not limited to; Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) lining, Traffic Control, Saw-Cutting, Demolition, Excavation & Backfill, Sewer Installation, Concrete Flatwork, Concrete Structures, Grading, Paving, Surveying, Abandonment, Trucking, Other Required Work and Trades. Suppliers are required for Sewer and Electrical Material & Construction Aggregate. The contract work includes concrete repairs, baffle wall construction, rock rip rap construction, and replacement of mechanical equipment, which are all done in a confined space and in the marine environment.
The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) subcontractor participation requirement for this Contract is 10.00%. The LBE subcontracting requirement can only be met with CMD certified San Francisco Micro and Small-LBEs. Micro and Small-LBE subcontracting participation breakdown:
4.00% MBE; 1.40% WBE; 4.60% OBE.
