Lukins Brothers Water Company - Phase II Waterline Replacement Project. The project is located in South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, CA as shown on the plans. The proposed project includes the installation of approximately 4,700 LF new 12-inch & 8-inch waterline and, water services, meter boxes, various connections to existing (including shut-down & draining procedures), and fire hydrant assemblies. Surface improvements include trenching and patch work over the proposed waterline improvements after installation is complete, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) BMPs during construction, and restoration to existing. Vinciguerra Construction is seeking quotes for all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE, UDBE, WBE, MBE, SBE Firms for the following items of work included but not limited to: Erosion Control/Revegetation Materials furnish & placement, , Waterworks Supplies & Appurtenances (Water Main Piping, Pipe Fitting’s, Gate Valves, Valve Boxes, Fire Hydrants, and Water Service Valves), Sheeting and Shoring, Dewatering, Traffic Control, Construction Area Signs, Excavation/Earth Work, Demolition of pipe, Aggregate Base; furnish & placement, Asphalt Paving, and Trucking. Our firm will consider dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by DBE's in the competitive process. Our company will also consider consortium of DBE's should a contract be too large for firms to handle individually.
