Project Description:
The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:
1. Removal and Replacement of the existing bridges at MP 95.66 and 95.90 on Amtrak’s Empire Line including retaining walls along the approaches. The existing abutments will be abandoned in place in front of the new bridge substructures. The existing two track bridge at each location will be replaced by two single track bridges in accordance with the Contract Documents.

2. Raising of the existing track profiles by 10 inches in accordance with the Contract Documents.

3. Shifting and realignment of the existing Track 2 approximately 5ft in accordance with the Contract Documents.

4. The required utility work to facilitate bridge replacement.

Scope of work (but is not limited to): Demolition/Site Work, Drilling/Piles/Caissons, Structural Steel Electric, Instrumentation, Rebar/Metals, Plumbing, Marine Work, Asbestos Remediation, Dewatering, Precast Concrete, Landscaping, Soil Erosion Control, Steel Painting, Trucking/Disposal, Dumpster, Field Office Rent and Supplies, Caisson/Drilled Shaft, Micropile, Rebar etc.
