The vendor must provide a comprehensive translation and interpretation solution(s) which may include hardware, software, and support services, that meets the following specifications:
Hardware Provision: Supply and deliver the translation/interpretation devices as per the required quantity, ensuring all devices are fully functional and pre-configured for immediate use.
Software Integration: Ensure the translation software is installed and configured to support real-time interpretation in over 200 languages and dialects, including the ability to assign weight to words and preload common phrases.
Connectivity and Accessibility: Devices must be capable of both face-to-face and remote communication via QR code or link, allowing seamless interactions for users.
Broadcast Mode Implementation: Enable an unlimited number of participants to join and listen to a speaker in their chosen language, with unlimited broadcast minutes included.
Mobile Device Management (MDM): Configure devices to lock them into kiosk mode, ensuring security and restricted access.
Training and Professional Development: Provide initial and ongoing training for staff to effectively use the devices and software. Training should cover troubleshooting, ongoing support, best practices, and advanced functionalities.
ASL Package: Offer an American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation package for ASL support.
Logistics and Warranty: Ensure timely delivery of devices with a manufacturer warranty and all necessary accessories included.
Package must include repair, maintenance, calibration, tune-up, updating, and replacement services.
Product must meet School District Information Technology specifications and requirements.
