Government Contracting Certifications for Small Business

Socal PTAC (covering San Diego, Orange, and Imperial counties) is hosting a webinar for the benefit of businesses seeking to understand the available government certifications and how they can benefit businesses seeking government procurement work. Certifications covered will include those offered by the State of California (the Small Business certification, the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise certification, and the new Small Business for the purpose of Public Works certification), as well as those certifications and programs offered by the federal government through the Small Business Administration (the 8(a) Business Development Program, the Woman-Owned Small Business certification, the HUBZone certification, and the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business certification). Topics covered will include the ins and outs of how to apply for these certifications as well as the benefits they can bring.
