New York City SBS - Procurement Basics

The New York City Department of Small Business Services Procurement Technical Assistance Center (SBS-PTAC) is offering a round of its regular "Selling to Government" webinar series online over the Zoom platform. The first in the four-part series, "Selling to Government", will cover the very basics for businesses trying to determine whether and how they should get into government procurement work. Topics covered will include making the determination on whether or not government contracting is for you, getting registered, knowing the right Commodity Codes to use to describe your business, understanding the ins and outs of procurement and bidding, and more. Lessons learned will be applicable at the state and federal levels as well as the municipal level.
