Government Contracting Certifications for Small Business

Socal Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) covering San Diego, Orange, and Imperial counties, is hosting a webinar on the various certifications businesses hoping to boost their chances of winning government contracts can apply for. The webinar covers the subject particularly as it applies to the federal certifications available from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the State of California. These certifications include the 8(a) Business Development Program, the Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification, the HUBZone certification, the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certification, and California's Small Business certification, Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise certification, and the Small Business (for the purpose of Public Works) certification. Tips on applying as well as details about the benefits of these certifications will be available.
