DBE Participation Goal announced for O'Hare and Midway Airports

The City of Chicago has announced triennial DBE participation goals on federally-assisted projects let by the O'Hare and Midway International Airports. The period covered by the goals is fiscal years 2023 through 2025.

O'Hare International Airport's goal for the period is 19.3 percent. Midway International Airport's goal for the same period is 24.4 percent.

The public notice of the goals was published on June 15th, 2022, and the comment period for the goals and their respective methodologies lasts for 30 days following that initial notice. 

Comments from interested parties, members of the public, and stakeholders on the DBE goal will be accepted during that 30-day period, and can be sent to the following: Aileen Velazquez, Chief Procurement Officer, 121 N. LaSalle St., Suite 806, Chicago, Illinois 60602, or Aileen.Velazquez@cityofchicago.org via email, with the subject line "DBE Goal – MDW/ORD – Public Feedback". Comments may also be submitted to: Federal Aviation Administration, Office of Civil Rights, Nancy Cibic, DBE/ACDBE Compliance Specialist, Great Lakes Region, 2346 N. Heritage Lane, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004, or Nancy.Cibic@faa.gov via email, with the subject line "DBE Goal – MDW/ORD – Public Feedback". Note that respondents should use either "MDW" or "ORD", as appropriate, to refer to either Midway International Airport or O'Hare International Airport, respectively.
