City of Philadelphia offering two series of monthly webinars in 2023

The City of Philadelphia's Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) will be hosting two monthly webinar series that will run through November of 2023. The webinars will be part of the OEO's general efforts to help minority-, women-, disabled-owned businesses build generational wealth particularly by means of developing their capacity to pursue contract opportunities with the City.

The workshop series will consist of the "Doing Business in the City" events, on the third Wednesdays of each month, and the "Business Development" events, on the fourth Wednesdays of each month. Both workshops will last from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EST on their respective days, and will run from January through June and September through November of 2023.

The webinars will explore resources available to businesses in growing their capacity, learning about the City contracts available to be bid on, making a strategy for pursuing proposals, and networking with other similarly-situated businesses.
