Iowa DOT seeks input on potential DBE goals

The Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) is currently embarking on the process of developing DBE participation goals for federally-assisted contracts during the 2024 through 2026 fiscal years. As part of that process they are seeking input and comments from interested members of the public.

Those with input on the possible DBE utilization goal are directed to email Nikita.Rainey@iowadot.us, or to send physical mail to Nikita Rainey, Civil Rights Bureau Director, Civil Rights Bureau, Iowa Department of Transportation, 800 Lincoln Way Ames, Iowa 50010.

There will also be two public meetings on the potential goal, accessible in person and via Microsoft Teams. For more information on the meetings contact Nikita.Rainey@iowadot.us. Both meetings will be held at Iowa Department of Transportation's headquarters at 800 Lincoln Way, Ames, in the Admin. First Floor South Conference Room. The meeting on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 1 to 2 PM will concern the goal methodology setting process. The meeting on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 1 to 2 PM will be a discussion of the proposed goal.
