City of Amarillo publishes proposed DBE goal

Amarillo City Transit (ACT) has published a proposed DBE participation goal for the period of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2026. The goal has been set at 9.15 percent. ACT is required to set such a goal as a recipient of federal transportation funding.

Comments are currently being accepted on the proposed goal by phone at (806) 378-6892 and by email at brianna.mills@amarillo.gov. Comments sent through the physical mail should be sent to:

Additionally, there will be a public meeting on the proposed goal being held on Thursday, July 20th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at ACT headquarters at 801 SE 23rd Ave, Amarillo, TX.
