City of Cincinnati hosting disparity study listening sessions

OH News - Published Jul 09, 2024

The City of Cincinnati is hosting a series of Community Listening Sessions in service of the upcoming disparity study it is conducting. The study will examine whether or not the City is utilizing the services of minority- and woman-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) at rates that reflect their availability in the area.

The Community Listening Sessions will give members of the public an opportunity to provide feedback into their experiences with doing, or attempting to do, business with the City, as well as feedback on the means by which the study is conducted. The events will include an overview of disparity studies generally, a timeline for the upcoming study, and then an open floor for questions and comments.

The City plans on conducting five separate Community Listening Sessions. Their dates and locations are as follows:
Wednesday, July 10 at 3 PM, at the Walnut Hills Library in Cincinnati, OH.
Thursday, July 25 at 6 PM, a virtual session.
Wednesday, July 31 at 10 AM, at Cincinnati City Hall in Cincinnati, OH.
Thursday, August 15 at 3 PM, at Price Hill Library in Cincinnati, OH.
Wednesday, August 28 at 10 AM, a virtual session.
