UDOT seeking comment on 2025-2027 DBE goals

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is currently seeing public input on its proposed DBE participation goals for fiscal years 2025 through 2027. UDOT is required to set such participation goals as a recipient of federal transit funding.

Currently, UDOT has proposed a DBE participation goal of 6.298 percent for the period in question, taking into account a variety of factors, including past participation rates and availability of DBEs in the area. The goal itself and the methodology used to reach the goal are open to public comment during the period from August 5, 2024 to Sept 4, 2024.

Comments on the goal and its methodology may be sent by email to civilrights@utah.gov. UDOT will also be holding a virtual public meeting, via the Google Meet platform, on the goal and its methodology on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 at 10 AM.
